Influence of PBS, PBAT and TPS content on tensile and processing properties of PLA-based polymeric blends at different temperatures

Abstract PLA-based blends were prepared with different ratios of PBS, PBAT and TPS additives to adjust their mechanical processing properties in various temperatures ( ? 20 °C, 0 40 °C). Biodegradable polymeric specimens obtained by preliminary extrusion subsequent injection molding. Tensile properties, e.g., tensile strength, elongation at break, Young’s modulus yield strength evaluated. Next, melt flow volume established. Softening, glass transition, cold crystallization determined the use DSC method. Heat Deflection Temperatures for 1.8 MPa (HDT A) 8 C), as well Vicat Softening 10 N (VST 50 B), examined.
